  1. Nice pick of Vasilevski btw. I was hoping he would slip to my next pick.
  2. And he seems so bad in the OF you almost hope that he gets traded to a team as a 1B.
  3. damn, sorry to hear that Spank. Hope those painkillers numb the pain of losing Schwarber too (I feel you pain, I own him in LOD)
  4. I thought we'd make the turn quick. I wonder where the Spanker is
  5. who you take'n ya staller!
  6. Maybe if you're in Spanky's position
  7. I'm in TO in June too! Jays are home (good), but playing the Phillies (bad)
  8. answer; the goalie shortage. and peoples obsession with youth in dynasty leagues.
  9. Damn. I really wanted Kopitar. I'll take Simmonds I guess.
  10. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1MW2nxU_ibNJT6WNTsKskXs6jmNI8cUJddnObxInGyVY/edit#gid=1105240589 on the 2016 Dispersal tab. All available players on on the right hand side.
  11. yeah, but he popped on to make a trade for the pick that is up at that very moment. He knew who was available and definitely knew which player he wanted given he was giving up a pretty nice asset to ensure he got him. Not an inexcusable offense or anything, just annoying.
  12. pretty annoyed that BB just f***ed off after trading for the pick... he obviously have someone in mind to give up Ryan... whats the hold up?
  13. Picked him up in my redraft league because of all your hyping... nicely done
  14. So BB trades for the pick, then f***s off?
  15. I'd take a shot if it just costs a pick.
  16. Did he tell you who he was picking?
  17. If you feel the need to publicly apologize, this is something that can be done in one of the 100 interviews he'll do in the coming weeks. Its inflating the seriousness of the transgression to hold a conference for this alone (which to reiterate, we still don't know they are doing). It sends a signal that this is a huge issue. It's simply not. It is an issue, but a pretty f***ing minimal one.
  18. I don't think I'm doing that at all. I am assuming that there is some portion of the critics who will act in this way, and that its not wise to try and cater to their outrage. I didn't hear the comment, but my thoughts are that if I had I would have probably though "hmm, well that's a pretty s***** thing to say". Then I'd hope someone explained to him that it's not really acceptable, and I would never think about it again. That is recognizing the criticism. This hasn't been a pervasive issue for him, so why make a mountain out of a molehill (if this is in fact a presser for him to formally apologize, which we don't know yet).
  19. It 100% fine to not like his comment. But what do you mean by holding him accountable? To dwell on the issue until he makes a public apology is already more than I think is necessary. I think it would be fine for his boss to let him know that's not acceptable. But guaranteed, if he does apologize publicly, that won't be enough for the critics. Its been proven time and time again that if you give them an inch, they will insist nothing but a mile will do.
  20. The whole thing is a joke now. A big competition to see who can be the most offended. It isn't virtuous to be offended. It doesn't fix anything.
  21. Did it start at midnight tonight, or some time this morning? Just so CSJ knows when his window ends.
  22. What are the windows? 12 or 6?
