110% agreed. Pillar has been solid himself, but you can't get rid of Gose. The guy is as MLB ready as he's gonna get, and that speed is amazing.

Yeah... I like how Gibbons is using our best D in 9th inning situations. Gose was in center there, with Pillar to left. Farrell probably keeps the D as is, or does something retarded like moves Bautista to center.

The stat nerds have delegitimized the closers role because they don't account for human emotion on a sports field. It's as clear as day that getting the final 3 outs is a tense as f*** situation.
