Stretch him out and stop trying to rush every high ceiling prospect they have. He isn't going to make much of a difference at the ML level this year anyways, so what's the point?

I'm not saying it won't improve. Just that it has to improve for him to be good at higher levels. If it doesn't then more advanced pitching will just throw him junk just outside the strike zone and he will get himself out swinging at that crap.

Sanchez is the ML next year is really rushing the kid. I wouldn't do that move. Stroman is going to start probably in Dunedin sometime around May 20. Didn't start last year and will need some time. So I don't think that will work for next year either. Stilson is a reliever. Keeps getting injured as a starter and has a violent delivery not ideal for a starter. Hutchison makes the most sense to me. Has some ML experience and was coming along fine before his injury last year.

Sure, but unless he continues to hit at a really high rate, he won't have much of an OBP to talk about. It's kinda been the Jays issue over the last few years. Do you really think the kid is going to hit 320+ in the majors to get his OBP to somewhere near 340 year-after-year? I wouldn't take that bet on anyone. At some point the free swinging aspect of Jays hitters coming up has to change or their going to suffer the same fate that's plagued the ML team for a while now.

Only thing he hasn't shown so far is the ability to take a BB. His OBP is only like 16 points higher than his BA. 3 BB in 109 ABs really shows he doesn't exactly take a pitch. That could bite him down the road.
