  1. This team has no offense way too often...good teams score on a regular basis, not once or twice a week The pitching has been decent to good the last two weeks and we have maybe 2 wins
  2. Game could start in 2-3 hrs if that moves fast..nnmost like ppd though
  3. Game 89 - Duffy (LHP) - 6 games remaining in the second half Jose Reyes (3pts) - Atothe Josh Donaldson (1pt) - Jonn, baseballsss, LetTheBallFly Jose Bautista (1pt) - Edwin Encarnacion (1pt) - Russell Martin (2pts) - Devon Travis (3pts) - L54, Dylan Dionner Navarro (4pts) - Danny Valencia (4pts) - Spanky99, GD Kevin Pillar (5pts) -o2 Bench (8pts) -
  4. So Colabello can't even play against lefties..... Go Blue Jays!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. If you assume (probably shouldnt) that'd Hutch's performance is directly related to the bad luck associated with the high BABIP. He goes from a not so good #5 starter to at best a 3/4 starter.
  6. Agreed, he should be better than what he has been but those BABIP are still high. I just don't see Hutch really succeeding until he gets the slider back ( which made last season's numbers better) and a useful changeup
  7. How he pitches...the quality of his pitches....the location he has to pitch to be effective...and the amount of pitches he has to actually use Sanchez has a great fastball with velocity and movement which results in a lower BABIP Buehrle has great command and can pitch with a variety of pitches. Velocities, and stays at the bottom of the zone Dickey has the knuckle ball which overall is hard to hit Estrada has an amazing changeup that he can throw whenever to get weak contact and has to be accounted for Hutch is a one pitch pitcher until he gets the slider back. His fastball is flat and he pitches up in the zone at 91-94 mph without any workable changeup to keep hitters off balance. Again...just my opinion.
  8. I see what you are saying. I just don't like how this stat is used. You have to look deeper into why Hutch has a higher BABIP. Of the pitchers you listed, I would expect Hutch to have the highest 9 times out of 10. So how much better can his BABIP get is the question. The way he has pitched this year I would not expect it to change a whole lot.
  9. At least you are honest
  10. Yes I realize....someone asked me if I am ready to trade Sanchez for Shark
  11. According to Gibby not a thing wrong with them. Just wanted to give them a day off.
  12. No, it's because I have recognized that Sanchez is a better asset and gives this team a better chance to win. Hutch in my opinion will not get much better than we see now. He relies too much on an inconsistent fastball with inconsistent command and through the 3 ish years he has been in the majors has not made any progress in developing a 3rd pitch. Between the two Sanchez has more upside now and in the future in my opionion, so I would trade Hutch for Shark
  13. They won't sit 2 of the best players in your lineup vs the worst record in the AL
  14. Don't know what this is, but that would have AA fired tonight
  15. Starting Sunday everyone gets 4 days off that missed today's game
  16. No reason for Navarro and Goins to hit in the 8th, we were not winning or tied we needed offense
  17. Agreed, plus Edwin or Reyes could have pinch hit in late innings especially in only a 2 run game
