    Bautista went up looking HR, instead of fly ball to right field. He got 3 straight sliders on the outside I think. That's on Bautista not because Kluber is good. He had the perfect pitches to drive in the run and set the tone for the game...but that's not what he tried to do.

    Partly true. He is the manager so he is responsible for the game plan and approach at the plate.

    Francona is 8-1 when winning the first game as a manager....

    That's the story with this team. No adjustments when they face a good pitcher who can control the outside of the plate.

    Please remove Bautista from the OF. Only DH. Totally catchable ball. Also, looks like Travis can barely walk. That's when he needed to come out.

    It's not about figuring it out...its about getting back up to speed. Goins wouldnt be of much help and Barney did nothing last series. So is it better to ride with a little limited range on d vs the chance of Travis getting back to a .300 hitter or take an 0 for with better D. I'd take Travis right now until it becomes a major problem which it hasn't right now.

    He probably is not 100%. He has played 4 innings in just over a week now. Let him get back into the flow of the game.

    Yeah, in the first inning of a series that was the right call not to send him. Have to assume JB at least gets a run in.

    Not really. We have 6 baserunners in 3 innings. In September that would be a game for us. Now the RISP looks more like September.
