  1. Big difference in our bullpen turning it around is they are using both sides of the plate me it seems.
  2. Good job by our 2nd/SSs...Travis was just a hair to early on that one
  3. I was researching a guy to add to one of my fantasy teams and I saw something interesting...Aaron Altherr looks like a taller/skinnier version of Bautista
  4. Great job defensively that inning. Carrera fid an amazing job keeping the ball from going to the wall and then Barney and Pearce make outstanding defensive plays to keep them scoreless. That being said...similar to the conversation last night...Carerra got to his ball amazingly but then seems to close his eyes and stab at the ball. Not sure why
  5. Friday night game: Game 36 Bonus: Guess how many runs we score(+3) Bautista (2 Pts)- o2 Morales (3 pts)- Smoak (5 Pts)-Condor13 Pearce (5 Pts)- Travis (6 Pts)- LTBF Pillar (7 Pts)- Barney (9 Pts)- Carerra (9 Pts)- Goins (9 Pts)- Coghlan (6 Pts)- Maile (9 Pts) Ohlman (9 Pts) Bench (10 Pts) Runs- 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9- LTBF 10 11 12 13 14 15
  6. Game 35: O2 and Condor13, Jays4life19 +7
  7. It was a nice change of pace...kind of like Estrada's changeup
  8. I'd like to add...this was a great GDT with lots of baseball talk!
  9. I was told by many on here he can't strike anyone out...lol And he is doing it in Coors
  10. He can get to the ball...but he drops or makes outlandish ugly attempts at least 1 time a game...I mean he tried diving into the stands on a ball that hit the wall in fair territory earlier this year...he is good a big chunk of the time...but I can't understand how he misses or drops some balls he does
  11. Speaking of predictions everyone laughed at..........
  12. Carrera might be the worst outfielder I have seen. Very cacthable ball missed again
  13. I don't mind drawing larger conclusions from a single game. As long as it was based on his new approach, swing, and ability to make better and harder contact. But on the flip side, absolutely others should be able to make similar conclusions from small samples as well. It's always fun to see how these long term predictions pan out based on small samples. Some certainly do pan out (Pillar so far) while others crash and burn (Snider and JPA for example).
  14. Really gets everything he can out of changing speeds and locating his pitches, would love for him to help Stroman get some sort of changeup going
  15. The pitch Travis got is one he was crushing last 2 years...still doesn't have his timing back
  16. Low and in to a lefty might be the least called strike in baseball...maybe up and in to a righty is equivalent
  17. You are probably right. The only difference I could see in his career numbers is that the pitches he is getting has been a great deal more outside the strike zone than years past.
  18. Also, maybe we need to get our launch angles up lol...to many hard hit balls at people lol
