  1. I doubt we see him more than 1 start per series even getting to world series. He'll be game 3 in the DS then game 4 in each of the following 2 assuming they make it that far. I strongly suspect Liriano will be his handcuff
  2. Hey, knock off all this beer s*** and let's get back to trashing the Orioles board. Plenty of other threads for real conversation
  3. I can't remember where I heard it(I think mlb network radio) but it was said that they do not want Sanchez going much past 200 innings including the playoffs. Pretty much means he's good for about 3 more starts at 4-5 innings per start, or 1 start per remaining round at best, and he'll be on a short leash in any case. That would put him around 204-207 innings after only 92.1 last year.
  4. And even better, the article Cameron wrote right before the game started. .... http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/buck-showalter-and-the-zach-britton-test/
  5. Lololol called that, but a blind man could see either coming. Was about as obvious a thing as PUTTING IN YOUR BEST PITCHER IN A 1 GAME PLAYOFF IN EXTRA INNINGS
  6. Buck already said he was fine and he was just saving him for a save situation.
  7. If I was Rogers, I would resign Edwin and then for April Fool's day next year add a sucahrge to everyone's monthly bills and label it "Edwin Contract Fund"
  8. He made a solid point, until it was realized that one of the best relievers in baseball didn't get used in a win or go home game.
  9. It will only get better over the next week... month... and offseason
  10. I can smell the Fangraphs article on Showalter not using Britton already. I can practically hear Cameron typing it from here while laughing his ass off
  11. Let's be fair, putting in any reliever instead of Britton, at ANY point after the 9th inning... was wrong
  12. Has Harold Reynolds backed him up yet? Sounds like something he would do
  13. Lost in all this craziness, is just how much more of a raping that Liriano trade just turned out to be.
  14. And Buck made stupid decisions! Exclamation point.
  15. Lol, of course he's going to double down now, he won't throw Ubaldo under the bus by saying he should have gone to the best closer in the game over a guy who was a DFA candidate 2 months ago..... Bwaaaaaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahha!
  16. Amazing thread. Well done sir Single worst managerial decision in recent memory to save Britton.... completely indefensible unless he's hurt
  17. Don't forget after he says it, how the cult at Orioles Hangout would defend it to the death even though it's completely indefensible because Buck is Jesus or some s***. Unless hurt, it's probably the worst managerial decision in recent memory in a playoff game
  18. All is forgiven until tomorrow! Douche....
  19. Sac fly, wild pitch, passed ball, Texas leaguer, dying quail or a walk off parrot trot. We need it to end
  20. Yeah, with the next like 6 RHB bats Buck will go to Ubaldo
  21. Screw that. Dickey would be nailz as a closer....
