Definitely been disappointing in terms of lacking close games.. But that wouldn’t be a good assessment of a game like last night. The score was even I believe quarters 2-4 so that doesn’t suggest “packing it in” to me. Another way to look at it is when a team gets up double digits, maybe they stay focused a bit more as it’s the playoffs. You can’t allow those big runs early on. Anyways, last night was just another example of how Boston is the better team. Cleveland really struggled to make anything happen on offense. Lots of bad shots, missed open looks, and sloppy ball handling

Actually I’m basing it on how Bos has played this postseason. I was scared of them coming in. I’ll still take James but I think it’s going at least 6 (which isn’t really saying much now)

I guess it kinda shows Casey needed to go. Lebron now 4-4 (with a few spankings) against other teams and 4-0 against Toronto this postseason. Bos and Ind both play with high intensity on both ends/very physical , move the ball well, and don’t look timid at all against the Cavs. Pretty much opposite of Tor

Don’t know what difference it’d make. After reading about the 76’ers coach’s exit press conference, pretty clear they’re going to make a full court press for LeBron. It was already known Simmons and Embiid wanted him. Hypothetically if he goes there (which is at least a possibility) and you have Boston with their players coming back and both those teams have decent draft picks coming... I just don’t see any move TOR could make that would even get them close to competing with those two clubs anytime soon. So even if you lose a star player you’re still not a clear lotto team. So idk.. prob just better to roll with what you got. At least have a competitive team that lets you guys drink the juice a bit during the regular season

Jim, let me try to bridge the gap between our views or at least better understand yours. I’ll give you a scenario and just assume it’s all true: Say you have a white guy. This white guy interacts with black co-workers and clients on a daily basis. When he goes out and sees a properly dressed black guy/family there’s never a time when it crosses his mind that these people aren’t just like him. This same guy though sometimes come across black guys strolling down the street with their pants at their ankles and underwear showing. When he sees those people in his mind he’ll start attributing some of the common negative stereotypes that’s associated with blacks Is that man a racist or no?

When you met your wife I’m sure she looked you up and down, same when you met her parents, same when you interviewed for your first job..on and on... doesn’t mean your first impression is right and in fact one can quickly realize they’re wrong after a few sentences of talking. People make snap judgements on appearance though Jim. Get over it

I don’t know much about the Canadian criminal process other than that I know the Police Commish (Dudley Do-Right) but in the US it wouldn’t add up; these accusations and a single charge of assault and the guy ROR’d quickly

His extreme position is likely born from frustration of the new societal norm of assuming a man is guilty based on accusations. You can deny that is the case all you want but to each their own. There’s been famous people that came out critical of the #metoo movement and the disregard of due process and then they’re quickly forced into damage control and a public apology for thinking the same way an average non-pansy that’s not a liberal does. It’s like rape. I understand there’s millions that are shamed and never get justice for being raped but that still doesn’t mean psycho girls don’t use it as a revenge or attention seeking tool. I’m sure that’s a small percentage in normal life but when it comes to celebs I bet that fake rape claim jumps up about 1000%

People are extreme both ways. Though most people are extreme in the other direction from you. But the truth is it could go either way and that’s how it should be approached

What kind of nonsense is this Canadian policy not to release the details to not give away the identity of the victim? Like if it’s reported he punched a woman in the face and dragged her by her hair, how is that going to indentify the victim? Maybe if the whole night and situation is explained it would reveal the victim but they should give some basic info on the charge. Canada is stupid
