  1. Surprised there’s lots of love for the deal on here when it’s a sub .300 obp guy.
  2. Kopech (as-is) or Austin Riley?

Didn’t ask for more. I like my asset better for sure but just might make more sense for my roster to acquire your guy. But can’t pull trigger. Give me the weekend to decide unless you find something else

Westbrook 1-15 from the field so far lol
  6. Yahoo is the worst. Should’ve read closer. It was just a top page story
  7. Here’s a good article questioning Eloy rumor: https://www.yahoo.com/sports/theres-report-eloy-jimenez-white-143530173.html
  8. But honestly for every Bregman there’s at least a few Ellsburys, Chris Davis, Pujols, Hayward, etc on the other end of the spectrum.
  9. Yeah. My mind drew a blank there. I was thinking it was just clomid. Just a timing thing
  10. I don’t get why an athlete would risk an 80 game suspension for using clomid. Even Wright’s suspension is for a peptide. Neither is going to give any big advantage to say the least
  11. I think with the CBA in football and basketball, rookie scale contracts exist because it can mess up the market for vets when you grossly overpay for poop. So it’ll always kind of suck for those few guys that are legit stars out of the gate but for overal league health, rookie scale is the way to go
  12. Yeah, that’s why I was surprised that the GM would have such a “tough luck” attitude towards it. The line they should be sticking to is it helps keeps a competitive balance with the smaller-market teams and that it could dry up money for the veterans in the league if you’re so quick to give players a huge raise after their first year of production. At least say it like that and not just blatantly say “you have zero leverage and so we’re going to take advantage”
  13. I was just reading an article about Bregman being disappointed in his salary and I was surprised on the GM response: GM Jeff Luhnow defended the decision, saying “That’s just the nature of our industry right now.” Which is not a defense of the nature of the industry right now, of course. It’s merely an acknowledgment that, when a player has zero leverage, he’s going to be paid far, far less than his production is worth and that teams will, quite happily, take advantage of that fact. Seems kind of blunt/matter-of-fact. You’d think he’d just kind of skirt around it by saying precedent or something
  14. That doesn’t seem too bad for 45lbs of cocaine
  15. I even messaged next which I never do.
  16. Actually, I’ll pick. Sorry for the confusion. I thought I only had one pick left around 90. I think Spanky edited the order from what he first posted.
  17. He’s alive? I always liked him but I’ve always liked Dylan Bundy so there’s that

Fun fact: There’s 2 teams tied for the worst record in the league against the spread: GSW and Tor. Don’t ever put your money in either
  19. Leave me alone. I forgot how to spell Neshek’s name and didn’t want Boxy to make fun of me
  20. Brandon Crawford I guess. Driving so someone can msg next
