  1. Tavarez but............Profar is a above-average bat at premium position.

  3. Hamilton over Sano was a stupid idea.
  4. ESPN Deportes Radio Dominicana: Bautista + Boni for Feliz + Profar
  5. We are a race composed of several races; Africans are tall.
  6. That's the reason, increase sales.
  7. One of the most angrily grunted complaint against newer baseball statistics is that if it’s not good enough to be on the back of baseball cards who needs it?
  8. Hamilton is s***. This isn't track and field, this is baseball, in this sport you must hit the damn ball.
  9. You must be careful about what you write. AA reads this forum, don't fill the AA's brain with crappy ideas.
  10. "I'm Bryan Lizardo, 15 years old, I'm from Santiago and my favorite baseball player is Andrian Beltre"
  11. Major league talent at 19 years old. He need to play everyday.
  12. At 6-foot-1 and 185 pounds, Lizardo's mature build has drawn praise and some criticism from scouts. Evaluators like his bat - he's been called one of the most "pure bats" on the market - and his power in batting practice and games. Scouts also like the switch-hitter's rhythm in the batter's box and approach at the plate, although there's a belief he's a better hitter from the left side. On the other side of the ball, Lizardo has displayed good hands and a strong throwing arm in front of scouts in games and tryouts, making him one of the top defensive players in the Dominican Prospect League (DPL) this year. He is still working on his footwork and defensive actions, but his overall game is expected to improve with more instruction. In the end, it's Lizardo's athleticism and body type that sometimes come into question, but there is no denying that he's one of the top players available this year.
  13. Top-20 update 01-Sanchez 02-Osuna 03-Stroman 04-Norris 05-Nolin 06-Stilson 07-DJ Davis 08-Alford 09-Jimenez 10-Smoral 11-Cardona 12-Lopes 13-Anderson 14-Tirado 15-Pompey 16-Pillar 17-Nay 18-Barreto 19-Griffin 20-Dean
  14. Jason Grilli now projected to miss between 1 and 2 months. Needless to say, look for Pirates to become more involved in pen market. AA dot it bitch, Delabar or Janssen
  15. Wrong bro. Everyone has a price. Alfaro + Profar + Luke Jackson for Jose Bautista + JPA
  16. In OF search, Rangers have looked at Stanton, Bautista, Encarnacion As colleague Jon Heyman wrote Friday morning, the Rangers are looking everywhere to try to find a right-handed hitting outfielder, not surprising given the concern that Nelson Cruz could face a Biogenesis drug suspension. So it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that the Rangers have continued to ask the Marlins about Giancarlo Stanton, even though the Marlins continue to tell them he isn't available. The Rangers went so far as to make a four-player offer for Stanton, according to one source, who said the offer was strong enough that the Marlins front office considered it worth pursuing. Marlins owner Jeffrey Loria, the source said, quickly put an end to any talk of a Stanton trade. But the Rangers continue to think big, recently sending a scout to watch Edwin Encarnacion and Jose Bautista of the Blue Jays. A deal for either of the two Toronto sluggers was described as unlikely, but the interest shows the level of player the Rangers are looking for. The Blue Jays haven't given any indication they would consider moving either Encarnacion or Bautista. As Heyman wrote, the Rangers have discussed the possibility of bringing back Michael Young, but they say they're more focused on obtaining an outfielder right now. Alex Rios, Hunter Pence, Marlon Byrd and Chris Denorfia are other players thought to be on the Rangers' lengthy list of possible targets.
