Yeah no surprise there. You fit the bill to a T. Absolutely THE most overrated front office in all of baseball. Baseball nerds love to salivate over these guys but AA has done jack all for about 5 years now. Meanwhile Tulo and Price for 60 games is equivalent to pretty much spinning your wheels with different guys. The edge it gives them to make a run at the division much less the wild card is pretty much non existent. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Maybe now they realize that they did need some team cohesiveness and character to make it work. Yeah I feel the same way. I guess if I had the choice between AA doing nothing or doing this...I'd choose this. Wish he got better value but I can live with this rather than him becoming a Yankee.

There are no signs that Norris will turn into a stud. I'd put my money on him turning into an average starter. I don't love it but it's not crippling like d'Arnaud and Syndergaard for Dickey. This is not nearly as bad.

Meh, Norris looks mediocre and Alford is far away, plus Price is exponentially better than Dickey. This is far better than the Mets trade IMO. I think I can stomach it.

Disagree. I'd be fine with Norris and someone insignificant. Norris+Alford? Bad deal but hard to not be excited.
