    Evidence from the past has shown a tangible positive effect. Don't see why that would change now, don't think anyone's done an analysis recently.

    Jays probably have the best team in the AL now, and I'm always pessimistic on their chances. If Dickey's truly found his command again, if Hutch can stop being unlucky, we've got a great shot and those aren't huge asks. Just imagine if we get Stroman back. Best offense, now with Tulo/Revere good defense, and with Price decent rotation. Bullpen is sneaky good, people still think it's bad for some reason. I'm pretty optimistic about playoff baseball this year. Really hope we f*** over the Oriloles in the process.

    Yeah. Can't dispute that he's pretty good at restocking the cupboard. Dude really needs to get better at recognising player value, though.
