Derozan is one of the most overrated players in the league. His advanced metrics are horrible and the raptors have been better with him off the court consistently for his entire career. Maybe the spurs can use their voodoo magic to teach him to shoot a 3 and stop being horrible on defense but for now he's a negative on the court making 30 million a year.

Pop is going to retire in 2 years so he has no interest in rebuilding. Derozan doesn't move the needle for them at all though and is one of the worst playoff performers ever so lol. Damn I can't believe how hard Masai fleeced the spurs lmao

none of our young players are even projected to be borderline allstars. Giving up 2 of them plus DD for 1 year of a top 5 player is worth it imo.

Don't see how it's bad. The 90s bulls and the 80s celtics/lakers were great for the league in terms of popularity. I hate that there are no dynasties in the mlb/nhl anymore. Just a bunch of different teams taking their turns winning championships every year. No truly dominant teams that span over multiple years.
