What if I told you, three of our really 'stand out relievers' were nobody's past the trade deadline last year? Loup appeared late in the 2nd half last year, and before the 2nd half we had Perez (who still has 0 in ERA) and Wagner (who was doing really well). That's about half a bullpen (that's really impressive) made out of nowhere. Brett Cecil, like Jessie Litsch, was a failed starter that thrived as a reliever. Who knows, since Romero (I think) and Drabek are out of options next year, maybe they are converted to relief pitchers if the Jays are scared of losing them to waivers + there's no trade value? Who knows, but relief pitchers, especially Janssen and dem SAVEZZZZZZZZZZZ are worth a lot on the market for really dumn GMs with good young prospects Bingo

If we trade all of: Oliver/Cecil/Delebar/Janssen, we are left with: Santos Loup Luis Perez Juan Perez Wagner McGowan/Rogers (if they decide to use McGowan as a starter again) Happ/Romero/Drabek (I think all of them will be out of options next year, and if they aren't traded they could be long men) Plus any FA acquisitions/trade acquisitions we have from August on to March. It looks worse, but if we can replenish the farm, it's worth it.
