  1. I like players with raw power. He has a strong arm too. If he could just think he'd be a great 4th OF
  2. CHOOOOOOOO CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Sierra Bandwagon coming through!!
  3. http://i.imgur.com/oonHQZJ.png Pitching Matchup: http://i.imgur.com/zLNIohT.png SP - Mark Buehrle (2013: 203.2 IP, 51 BB, 6.14 K/9, 2.25 BB/9, .273 BAA, .305 BABIP, 4.10 FIP) [L] http://i.imgur.com/J1bn7ha.png SP - Matt Moore (2013: 150.1 IP, 76 BB, 8.56 K/9, 4.55 BB/9, .212 BAA, .259 BABIP, 3.95 FIP) [L] Lineups: http://i.imgur.com/czAd2kK.png Make your picks for the first homer contest hosted by Dylan! Jays: Jose Reyes's MRI showed only an inflammation in his hamstring, and he is hopeful to return in the middle of April. He missed 30 games in total, 2 different 15-day DL stints, with the Mets in 2012 with the same injury. Johnny Diaz's RBI single in the 4th was his first career hit, which came in his second at bat after reaching base for his first time in his career with a walk. He also had his first faceplant of his MLB career, big day for him lol The Blue Jays' 19 consecutive non-winning series streak at Tropicana Field is at 19 right now, which is the longest active streak of it's kind since the Rays in Fenway Park from 2000-05 (25 straight series!). Rays: Matt Joyce is 4-for-5 with a pair of walks in his club's first two games. He has reached base or driven in a run in eight of his nine plate appearances. Desmond Jennings has three doubles in the first two games of the season. He joins Vinny Castilla (2001) as the only Rays to achieve the feat. On a side note he's 6-12 against Buehrle in his career. The Rays have taken every series at the Trop since April 6-8, 2007 with the Rays taking 19 of the next 20 series and splitting a 4 game series once. The Rays' 148 wins against the Jays (and their 83 wins at home vs. the Jays) are the most against any MLB team for the Rays. Please leave feedback and ideas/improvements for future GDTs!
  4. I'm going to keep guessing Bautista until he hits one lol
  5. Write an essay on (I chose this topic lol) how Grace's past influenced has effected and developed her insanity (something like that). It's due on Monday. I'm going to assume you know the story! I have 2/3 points down (Grace starting to see ghost of Mary essentially and how her past with her dad led to her killing Thomas Kineer) Just one more point lol
  6. Kratz caught the knuckleball well in ST. I have no idea why they keep him around That is true. Just saying for dire circumstances/NL games
  7. "The pitch to Rasm- HIGH DEEP DRIVE TO DEEP RIGHT FIELD IT HAS THE DISTANCE IF ITS FAIIIIIIIIIIIIR it's just foul"
  8. I'm probably the biggest lurker in this thread so might as well make my first post here lol I thought Goins was going to be as s*** vs. LHP but I'm wrong. I guess we're platooning Izzy there now... Oh boy. But we must listen to Buck Martinez! "People are saying Steven Drew is out there but how is he going to help the team? As soon as Reyes comes back you'll have two good SS and no where to put them"
  9. I meant drop Thole. Also Both EE and Francisco can play 3B (E5 mode lol) and JF can play LF too
  10. Yup. If a flag being thrown is not suffice, we can revert to the manager getting asked by the Ump "Challenge..... or nah?". The next word must be a yes or no answer and must be within 5 seconds.
  11. I think even simpler than that is throwing the flag. What's the point of reviewing each small play internally (while the manager delays the game talking to the ump) and then challenging it? Might as well take away the only 1 challenge rule, either way it's slowing things down. Use it for the really important ones, throw the flag before the next pitch. That's fast enough to quickly check 2 angles of a replay anyways
  12. Ya I agree, f*** it, I thought Goins would be decent vs. 2B: 1. Lawrie 3B 2. Melky LF 3. Bautista RF 4. Edwin 1B 5. Navarro DH 6. Kratz C 7. Rasmus CF 8. Izzy 2B 9. Diaz SS
  13. He hit 2.000 in his debut??? Is that an MLB record or something??
  14. Yeah but we won't have a RHP specialist off the bench. Plus why make Sierra the backup 1B if we have Fransisco? Kratz/Sierra/Fransisco/Diaz won't be a bad bench vs. RHP
