Jays:
Morrow 98 pitches in a season-low 3 2-3 innings, giving up two runs and four hits in a 9-3 win at Minnesota. Morrow walked four batters after issuing a total of two in his first two starts. He's 0-2 in six career starts against the Indians despite a 3.86 ERA with 45 strikeouts in 37.1 innings. Morrow limited them to one run in six innings of a 3-2 loss in his only matchup last season.
The Jays have slugged .404 through its first 14 contests and was tied for fifth in the majors with 17 homers, but is slugging .286 over its last four games with one home run.
Cabrera has six hits in just two games this season. He has four multihit games and has at least one hit in all but one of Toronto's 18 games this season.
Toronto's 5-0 victory on Saturday marked the 20th all-time shutout the Blue Jays have had over the Indians.
Indians:
Carlos Carrasco yielded five runs over 4.2 innings his last time out in a 9-6 loss to the White Sox on April 11. The Blue Jays knocked him around for five runs and seven hits in just three innings in Cleveland's 7-1 loss July 10, 2011, in his only start against them.
The Indians have left 19 men on base through the first two games of this series. On the year, Cleveland is hitting just .208 (32-for-154) with runners in scoring position.
Cleveland has been held to four runs or less in all but two of the club's past 16 games against the Blue Jays, dating back to 2011. The Indians have a 6-10 record over that same span of games.
