    I would like to say that, as much as I also advocate for defense and I agree with you as well that defense has at least cost us a run a game during this last stretch, a post-season team doesn't usually win games averaging 4 runs a game. The offense*** has been doo-doo this year and especially this month. How many DPs did we hit into today? How many leadoff baserunners did we have that we couldn't cash in? Last 10th inning we had a lead off double, a questionable bunt over to 3rd, then 2 opportunities to score him which resulted in two outs (yes KP was bad luck I know). 11th we had a leadoff single then a walk. What follows is a K from Bautista and a GIDP by Martin, and that's just 2 innings in extras of one game. We need to stop leaving so many runners on base. Second last in offensive WAR, 3rd last in runs scored, and most DPs grounded into for the month of September. This is why we're losing games.
