    Still need your depth pieces. But yeah, didn't look at Santana's remaining salary. I take the suggestion back. Robbie Ray is a guy I'm looking at..... s***** W-L and ERA but nice peripherals and highest BABIP in MLB. Stewart could be fleeced.

    I'd be looking at Ervin Santana from the Twinkies. Shouldn't cost much and with Sanchez to the 'pen gives the Jays an elite 'pen, a quite reasonable rotation and sound lineup with the exception of a defensive hole in RF.

    Not going to fall into the trap of thinking a 29 game hot streak means Tulo is going to be good for the rest of his contract. The risk of an injury plagued Tulo becoming a 2 WAR or less player is high. With a barren farm and aging team, after this year the Jays are going to be back to being a .500 club and potentially worse. Even if Tulo gives 3-4 WAR, it will be meaningless on a .500 club. You move Tulo for prospects if you can in the offseason. Can't believe this but I agree with BTS.
