    No of course not, I'm sure a study of BMI vs games played will show a correlation. But then there are the B Colon types. Would be better for Vladdy to slim down but it's not necessarily a career shortening problem if he doesn't. Maybe extend another fat guy Morales as insurance?

    What makes anyone think the injury is related to his body type? A few days prior to the injury he landed awkwardly on a base, may be a factor. That happens to every ballplayer from time to time, and even the fittest players can get injured from it. No evidence Vladdy is another Tulo.

    Yes..... and EE may have been pissed off at the Jays offer, told Shatkins he is not re-signing with the Jays. This would explain the quick cut bait and signing of Morales.

    EE rejected the Jays offer and signed elsewhere for less. He may have never intended to re-sign with the Jays, which would explain the quick signing of Morales. Who knows.

    If the other team is the Yanks, BoSox, 'Stros, Nats, or other such team, I'll tune in. Outside of a few players, Jays suck. Will change when the youth infusion happens, the Vladdy missiles are going to be fun to watch.
