    From what I understand, Leafs will not be able to afford all of Matthews, Nylander, Marner along with the commitments they already have. Perhaps Nylander will be moved for a higher priced d-man with an expiring contract, along with draft compensation. Would set up the Leafs for a serious cup run next season

    Espinal would be like 5th or 6th in the MIF prospect depth chart right now. Biggio, Bichette, Smith, Warmoth, Vicuna, Gurriel, who else? would be ahead of him considering his age and level. Back end of top 30 maybe. Time for board prospect ranking exercise?

    This might happen, since any trades should be for BPA, even if pitchers of slightly less value are offered up. Or something like that.

    Nah JD had issues in 2016 also. Also has played hurt a fair bit, that has been disclosed. It wasn't hard to see the signs.

    Why does anyone care what direction Fangraphs goes in? Not being forced to visit their website or read the articles you have no interest in. If Fangraphs sees these types of articles as an overall win for them (ie. moving to more of a mainstream site as opposed to a saber site) so be it. I'm aware of Ms. Ring and have not read any of her articles, nor do I expect to. I read the articles on subjects that interest me. Try it.
