  1. Good answer, and never, ever apologize
  2. I'd like to see a streamer at the bottom with news from other games
  3. Not entirely. Getting the puck on the net is a skill. But in baseball, only the Cardinals aim their line drives.
  4. There is no team with every player in the 5%
  5. This will be the 2019 season. Some promising results (Thornton today) combined with mostly some very poor ones.
  6. The qualification for the job is former BJ player known to casuals. Nothing else.
  7. Just shitballing, bro. Don't take everything seriously
  8. Teoscar showing a good eye this year. Can he turn into a semblance of EE?
  9. Some control issues, Cabrera just missed a HR. A bit shaky
  10. Bit of a shaky inning, but through the middle of the order twice with no damage done.
  11. Got away with one there. Cabrera was sitting on that fastball.
  12. Yep Thornton can bring it. I'm liking this team over the 2018 version already. With Vladdy and Alford certain to be up at some point this season, and possibly Bichette if he trashes AAA.
  13. Ah, here is one of those Pillar supporters. An endangered species.
  14. More likely a personality conflict.
  15. I figured he would be on the roster for a few weeks for specific reasons, like today, then dropped
  16. I looked at ESPN, he's on the roster. Not on the mlb.com roster. Blame ESPN, not me.
  17. 3rd catcher is some 22 yr old guy named Brett Wright. Played short season A ball last year.
  18. Pillar rough comparables would be Billy Hamilton, Alex Gordon, Jacoby Jones. Hamilton was signed as a FA for the same money Pillar is making this year. Pillar would be a minor upgrade on existing options for a team needing an OF. Entirely possible the next OF on such a team's depth chart delivers more than Pillar. So basically, he's worth a bag of balls. Now if the Jays eat a couple of million, they could get some value back.
  19. Yes, would need to measure up each batter and bingo.
  20. True, but I'm old so I get a pass
  21. Most annoying to see: A) Arencibia Pillar C) Jo-Jo D) Briantalletstache D) Aaron Hill (Bad version) When will BTS and the other Pillar defenders show up in here?
