  1. I think he's saying that the players we got are way more sure things than any of the prospects we gave up, for which I would suspect there are a maximum of two legitimate major league contributors, and would put the o/u at 1.
  2. Unless that type of slide for him is a random occurrence.
  3. You're putting way too much into Lincoln being blown up the next inning, chances are they would use somebody else. In a bases loaded scenario you really want to start looking at who is likely to be hit. You do raise the possibility that putting in new pitchers to bases loaded rarely works out, in that situation it may be true that its best to go with Lincoln. However, the Jays have a few relievers capable of having clean innings at all points in the game, and so if Janssen, who is a much superior reliever is comfortable in that situation to perform to his abilities (especially better than Lincoln, who obviously was not fit to handle it). They would also have the possibility of a second inning of Janssen, if they do score a run.
  4. Ah, hit it hard! Gotta get through this one quicky Ricky Ro
  5. Yunel just doesn't know any better
  6. If this is anything like last year, we can expect a complete no show from Yunel for the rest of the series, takes a while for the fragile man to recover
  7. Extra positive: Rodney at 11 pitches, might be fatigued for the 9th
  8. That's what I was thinking... He should maybe put his time towards improving this one, I checked out the site he had and there were some things that could be consolidated into one site.
