The Toronto Maple Leafs have traded forward Daniel Winnik to the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for F Zach Sill, Pittsburgh's own second round pick in 2016 and Pittsburgh's own fourth round pick in 2015. Sill will help with tanking.. 2nd and a 4th is a pretty solid return.

Debating on whether it's appropriate to crack jokes on a bizarre season ending injury that happened last year... baseball can't come fast enough!! Add me to the 'would probably make a smartass comment' list but I'd definitely wait to see how he was handling it first though.

I fully expect to see an everyday July lineup with Izturis, Kawasaki/Goins/Tolleson and Pillar when the expected Bautista/Saunders and Reyes injuries occur. Injuries happen.. and it sucks

Might work in some cases. A proper rebuild takes 3-4 years so I wouldn't want to take on anything longer. Leafs are probably already stuck with their own bad contracts.

If they did a proper rebuild I'd be okay with trading kessel but they would never purposely tank for a few years in T.O. Would they??
