he could be referring to the availability of players. I dont think there are many good 3rd basemen to be found as compared to 2nd base which there really aren't many available at a price that would be affordable. just wondering.... because I'd have to agree to that. -

the ones that matter do... and that's how he got a bus ticket lol I'm not hating on Pillar. just saying that Gibbons cant have Ted Lily or Shea Hillenbrand incidents this time around. it led to his demise last time around

anything other than a nod and taking his seat was too much. the manager cant have players questioning his decisions. especially not right then and there in front of the team mates. if Pillar had a problem with it he should have voiced it after the game in Gibbons office.
