my problem with the whole Sanchez issue is that the team REALLY should have either left him in AAA to work on adding control of another pitch and confidence or use him in the pen. those were the two smart options. they went another direction which doesn't make a lot of sense. -
it really does show that the GDT is getting better when the fantasy league guys start crawling back from the off topic threads. lol

going through stats pages and not watching the game takes all the fun out of baseball. Stats are great, but at some point simply watching baseball is what it should be about.

you dont aim at a players floor in the minors? that would be a colossal waste lol Jays have lots of 1 inning guys. What they need are starters. You can always go back to being a 1 inning guy, but a 1 inning guy is hard to turn into a starter.

not at all. the only walk that was acceptable was the one against Brantley. no reason to let him get another hit.

I've never said he was more than a 5th starter. if we had 4 good starters and Sanchez it wouldn't be so bad with him as the 5th.

it's about moving forward. He's definitely a work in progress. Everyone should have understood that coming into the season. It really looks like his problem is trying to be to fine. It's confidence and trusting stuff mostly.

as horrible as his walks numbers were today, he wasn't off by much. he had better control today.... if he is on the plate just a little more he will get some of the calls he didn't get today. Today was actually a step forward.
