    35 wins more might be enough if they go 10-3 against ny. if we go 7-6 against NY we are still 5 games back with 42 other games to play. NY has 45 other games. you say 35 more is enough. if we go 7-6 against NY that means jays go 29-13 of those other 42 and NY would have to go 23-19..... what 19 games do you see NY losing? NY schedule is better than ours.

    If I had the chance to go to games every month I'd take cheaper seats, but since I only get to a game every couple of years I don't care if it's $80

    winning series and sweeping a few is what needs to happen. beating up on the Twinkies is a must as is winning all the series against NY.

    I like him pitching every 5th game for personal reasons. lol that would mean that he would be starting the 23rd of sept against NY and I'll be at that game. but if they can get 2 extra starts by jumping some guys I'd be ok with that. we have a 5 game week coming up soon too. I think they should jump over hutch if they can.

    we need a picture of Volquez from the eighth inning, when he was in shock in the dugout. first the "boohoo" gestures and then the "I want my mommy" look, which I personally think suits him much better.

    Beltre has been s*** most of the year... hit for the cycle yesterday. why couldn't have have just hit against NY last week. damn!

    I guess math is not your strong side. they need at least 5 games a week giving them 45 more wins. that will get them to the playoffs and win the division.

    the top guys in next years market are going to be getting contracts that the jays WONT pay. top tier guys are getting 7 years AAV 25M. unless Rogers suddenly goes nuts which I doubt would happen. On a plus though, attendance has been very good lately and if we make the playoffs this year it will end up being VERY good. They might free up some more cash but it wont be 150M deals

    without Buehrle and Dickey that's 450 innings that need to come from somewhere else.

    for the first time in years we have a full team to play with in August. If Travis can come back healthy our starting 9 is one of the best in baseball. a couple pinch runners for sept will be enough. Just can't have any major injuries.

    he's politically correct to a fault. Didn't want to say anything good about TO without saying something good about everywhere else as well. hvae to agree that the last question was pathetic but Price handled it well. If Price is only a Jay for 2 months lets hope he's unbeaten for those 2 months.

    Jays need to win 5 games every week rest of the year including winning all remaining series against the Yankees.
