  1. Nolin's domination was ever so slightly better than Norris because of the 3 walks Norris gave up, but the 7 K's are sooooooo encouraging
  2. I was referring to the 2:2 K:BB ratio. He K:BB, at first thought, hasn't been as good lately. I could be wrong on that. Are there any GO:AO numbers available? Those are the two main things I focus on. Don't really care about hits at this level, it's why I'm still somewhat high on Norris.
  3. Thanks for these! Missing them. Nice to Lopes get hits AND walks. Great to see Nolin dominate. Sanchez is in a bit of a slump though I think.. I wonder how Stroman will do tomorrow. Some really encouraging performances from Norris and Jackson in Lansing. Maybe you could work that John Stilson got promoted from AA to AAA into the OP somehow?
  4. At least in 2011, we were kinda bad-ish, but damnit, the team in the second half was exciting. Walk off wins. Brett Lawrie beasting. A promising Rasmus. Bautista was a God. Morrow was becoming a great pitcher and Romero was riding some luck. Tons of walkoffs. EE began to break out. It was exciting as hell. now it's just depressing, lol.
  5. I still think you're Komodo and still can't figure out if you're... A.) a guy B.) a girl C.) Other D.) All of the above
  6. Woj is pretty much exactly who we need right now.
  7. Oh for the love of f***, not this again. Stupid umps.
  8. Meh, that's not thaaaaat old. Has he had any other injuries? All I can think of are two freak liner injuries.
  9. I guess they just want to be careful with them for whatever reason.
  10. The Jays have been slow promoting certain guys since the Snider dilemma. Not one big 3 member got promoted last year despite total domination of Lansing. But then there are the cases such as "should Hutch have stayed in AA for longer," "should Gose have repeated AA," etc.
  11. Happ isn't old lol. But agreed on other points. Just don't like seeing such a good young starter demoted.
  12. But Anibal Sanchez said that he'll energize the clubhouse!
  13. Leake would be a nice trade chip to fill a hole. It's amazing, CIN has all this depth, and none of them ever get f***ing injured. We have 0 depth, and all the injuries.
  14. 20% HR/FB is getting unlucky lol xFIP normalizes the HR/FB to league average and Cingrani, if he'd get luckier with the balls flying out, would have a lower ERA Although a 91% fastball rate is pretty ridonkulous
  15. Just saying, we tried relying on McGowan last year, and that worked out real well, lol. Stilson appeared in a bunch of AA games last year. He was probably just getting a feel for things in AA like Jenkins and I assume had he not been injured, he would have started at AAA.
  16. A career 4.36 xFIP guy probably isn't really worth a roster spot in relief anyways, though, so I don't see what the big deal is. The Marlins shouldn't do that, but the Marlins do not care about your puny "sabermetrics" and "good points" and "winning teams." They care about crushing the of dreams and stepping on the souls of Miami-Dade county tax payers.
  17. Darren Oliver kind of really f***ing sucks this year.
  18. FAK U BLUE JAYS y u do dis Oliver y u do dis Lind Fak
  19. I don't know who Randy the Robot is but that's getting creepy
  20. Lawrie hits the ball so damn hard, he'll break through eventually.
  21. Meh, you never know. Regardless, Wakefield will be interesting, especially in how it impacted the Blue Jays in 2009.
