  1. Cause Mark f***ing Buehrle walks 4 and strikes out 2 so often. Yeah, Mark Buehrle, he of the 8.3% K-BB% in his career. That's just egregious. Awful.
  2. Walked 4, struck out 2
  3. Oh please don't start I mean we're all rooting for him to get better but a 2/1 K/BB is not acceptable idc Ugh I hope this somehow works
  4. Not something owned by someone who possesses multiple accounts on a message board
  5. Remember when the DDL and BBDL members used to post regularly? Nox, NJH, Boxy, BTS (although he's just ashamed), P2F, JFaS, and so on. A lot more rare these days what with the ridiculousness that goes on. Lol if you're not a fan (boy) then why the f*** do you even post here? 49 is right.
  6. Like 2 months ago if you were positive you were hated, now if you're negative you're hated. Y'all f***ers need to take a deep breath and try and form a rational analysis, which means dropping the overwhelming recency bias.
  7. This is HF boards-level

    oh my god^
  9. Sounds like your typical Jays prospect
  10. The other Michael Taylor is tearing up AA
  11. We both know 11 innings isn't a sample worthy of consideration. It's encouraging but it isn't enough to sway an opinion. I know you're giving them the benefit of the doubt but I don't trash every single move AA makes. He makes some good depth moves, he recognizes team needs, he isn't the worst GM in the league. But I just can't support saying that a move is the right one because it was the one that was made. There's no substance to that. It has nothing to do with AA, I just don't understand why Sanchez was promoted when he's walking too many and not striking out enough. And giving them the benefit of the doubt doesn't have substance. It's blind faith.
  12. His GB% is very impressive, nobody is worried about that. It's the minor leagues and the sample size isn't great for batted ball luck, but Sanchez seems great at inducing weak contact so far. However, not only is he walking the park, he's not striking out enough guys to justify it. Either you can strike out an okay amount of guys and not walk anyone or you can strike out a ton of guys and walk a lot too but when you're only striking out an okay amount of batters and walking a ton of guys then you aren't gonna get anywhere and that's the concern with Sanchez. He has a 1.43 K-BB% and that's not really good enough. When Halladay walked 5 guys, he was just under the league average for K/9. That was in the MLB. Sanchez struck out 7.77 batters/9 in AA and the MLB average is 7.78 this year. He needs to be striking out more guys or walking fewer guys but he isn't doing either right now.
  13. We shouldn't be using IP when using Sanchez, as he doesn't go very far into games. GS or TBF would be better. I just don't see why you're giving Chappy such a hard time for being concerned with him when you don't have a strong opinion. You cherry picked one example of a very different pitcher and are now chiding Chappy for having a very legitimate concern yet you don't even have an opinion on him himself. And then you create a ridiculous straw man saying he'd trade him for a MRP. Also, I saw him in regular season action, not ST

Not happening, he wants too much money.
  15. Yeah, I never wanted Davis. I would've liked Seager, but I wasn't heartbroken at the time. At the time, lol. MyMLBDraft has StroShow's name spelled as Stromen lol
  16. I REALLY wanted Gallo that draft. When we didn't get him someone in a JaysJournal chat told me to get off the ledge lol Wanted Fried, Giolito, Gallo from that draft. Wanted Fernandez (I thought he'd be a good 2/3... lol), Gray and Cron from 2011. Hindsight hurts sometimes lol.
  17. You didn't answer his question. How many times have you seen him pitch? Why does your expert opinion matter far more than any of ours? Why aren't you concerned about the walks?
  18. Inb4 saskjay saw him in a youtube video that one time From seeing him in person, in plenty of video and I've read his statline, yeah, Chappy is right.
