I'm also of thought the Jays have certainly turned already in that direction, with the Dunedin facility etc... just haven't seen the fruit of that yet. The last wave of arms have blown up spectacularly so I've always understood your gripe with the development on the pitching side, it's a valiant point and should be discussed. Glad you're back posting again.

What are you talking about Baldilocks? I said Bass was the best reliever available and "You" brought up Robertson, I wanted the Jays to add him as well. It obviously didn't happen. I mean the guy was traded 2 minutes before the deadline, they were likely asking too much and caved, although Ben Brown was a decent get by the Cubbies... there's other metrics to look at for relievers like, WPA/RE24/SIERA, etc... don't lie, you're just simply a moron.

Sign Conforto, he'd be nice... Conforto, Diaz and re-sign Stripling, easy peasy. Trading interchangeable assets for depth and trade a Catcher + for a good SP we're made. I should be GM.

Agreed on Springer top 10 CF'er in ball, adding Nimmo would change that though. lol As for Bo, the Jays have showed zero reason that would change, mind you, they were in on someone IIRC at SS last season. Unless that happens they aren't moving him off short.

Dude, if we signed a CF with Springer and Merrifield as backups to said CF, we'd have no worries. LGJ's DRS is ranked 11th and OAA he's T-21 for LF, I don't agree with FT overall defensive value, not to mention 5.5M and you won't come close to finding a 4th OF bat on the market with a wRC+ 114 is cheeeeeeeap. Just keep him, it's easy peasy.

I didn't say that? I'm being serious, how much do you think they have? Thanks tips, I'm quite aware, Jays should keep Gurriel on as 4th OF'er if they sign one of Nimmo or Conforto, but they could always just role with Merrifield in that spot. There'll be turnover in the depth of the roster I'm sure. I'd be happy if the Jays got Edwin Diaz as our elite reliever and re-sign Chicken Strip, to be honest. Agreed.

Of course Jay fans are going to think we move past them, who wouldn't, unless you aren't a Jays fan? On paper we were the better team, as you said it's PS ball and a very short series, s*** happens, the M's should make it go six at least I think.
