  1. Hmm... could be, I vividly remember that his contract is guaranteed though. But as you say he cleared waivers and outrighted than that makes sense.
  2. Yariel Rodríguez signed a 5-year, $32 million contract with the Toronto Blue Jays in February 2024, including an $8M signing bonus and salaries escalating from $2M (2024) to $6.3M (2028), with potential performance bonuses and a player/club option for 2028, allowing him flexibility for minor league assignments in 2024 only.
  3. No, he signed an IFA contract with 1 option used when they initially signed him. Last year he accepted Toronto's demotion as a favour, and to stretch him out. Options don't apply with him.
  4. lol... I knew what you meant, it's certainly much deeper now.
  5. No, it's guaranteed.
  6. It's hard to say what they are doing here, one thing is for certain, the Jays do owe him that contract in full. Surprising.
  7. They can't option him without his consent, he'll end up a FA.
  8. Not to mention the staff and resources from BA to Fangraphs isn't particularly close, and the MLB uses Baseball America and Pipeline rankings in conjunction with awarding teams compensation when called upon.
  9. Jimmyc the Bill James of concrete... 😜
  10. Baseball America has the Jays with 6 players at 60FV, 2 at 55FV and 1 50FV in their top 10, just sayin'. You just named off 3 60's and a 55, that's too much I believe.
  11. Point being he's years away from being an impact player, if at all.
  12. Who just finished a season in A ball, lol?
  13. You're a bird, correct.
  14. lol... Varsho just put up 2.2 WAR in 270 PA's, you sure you want Ernie playing CF over him, or for the ongoing days of this franchise? Again, this isn't a video game, Clement brings massive value as a super utility player. Please stop.
  15. To each their own I guess, this isn't a video game man.
  16. So your answer is play Clement in CF, a position he hasn't played since a fill in in College? There's a need to extend Varsho, period.
  17. Stay calm, they aren't getting dealt unless it's ridiculous value.
  18. I find it hard to believe any contending team want's Bo in the 6 hole, he won't chase that money, it'll be 2nd base for a contender that matches, welcome back Kid. A consummate professional. 7/189 is my guess and a stud stopper, Edwin Diaz, f*** Tucker. That's a sick Org. Just sayin'
  19. No thanks, man. You keep saying this but there's no need.
