  1. lol... I knew what you meant, it's certainly much deeper now.
  2. No, it's guaranteed.
  3. It's hard to say what they are doing here, one thing is for certain, the Jays do owe him that contract in full. Surprising.
  4. They can't option him without his consent, he'll end up a FA.
  5. Not to mention the staff and resources from BA to Fangraphs isn't particularly close, and the MLB uses Baseball America and Pipeline rankings in conjunction with awarding teams compensation when called upon.
  6. Jimmyc the Bill James of concrete... 😜
  7. Baseball America has the Jays with 6 players at 60FV, 2 at 55FV and 1 50FV in their top 10, just sayin'. You just named off 3 60's and a 55, that's too much I believe.
  8. Point being he's years away from being an impact player, if at all.
  9. Who just finished a season in A ball, lol?
  10. You're a bird, correct.
  11. lol... Varsho just put up 2.2 WAR in 270 PA's, you sure you want Ernie playing CF over him, or for the ongoing days of this franchise? Again, this isn't a video game, Clement brings massive value as a super utility player. Please stop.
  12. To each their own I guess, this isn't a video game man.
  13. So your answer is play Clement in CF, a position he hasn't played since a fill in in College? There's a need to extend Varsho, period.
  14. Stay calm, they aren't getting dealt unless it's ridiculous value.
  15. I find it hard to believe any contending team want's Bo in the 6 hole, he won't chase that money, it'll be 2nd base for a contender that matches, welcome back Kid. A consummate professional. 7/189 is my guess and a stud stopper, Edwin Diaz, f*** Tucker. That's a sick Org. Just sayin'
  16. No thanks, man. You keep saying this but there's no need.
  17. MLBTR Podcast on the Cease signing etc... taped prior to the addition of Ponce @ the 40 minute mark... https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2025/12/mlbtr-podcast-an-agents-perspective-with-b-b-abbott-also-cease-williams-helsley-and-gray.html
  18. Lots of scuttlebutt going on in here, lol. I'm fine with Boss Atkins to Git R Done!
  19. Also, Geoff Pontes thinks the Jays will select this dude, ala Bastardo last season's rule 5, and rehab the kid... Yordanny Monegro, RHP, Red Sox Every year at the 40-man deadline, there’s a talented pitcher who goes unprotected due to injury. This season, that pitcher might just be Monegro. Teams are able to stash players on the long-term injured list for an entire season, delaying their need to keep a player selected in the Rule 5 on the active roster. That’s key for Monegro, as he had Tommy John surgery in late August 2025 and will miss all of 2026. Prior to his injury, Monegro had been superb over eight starts with Double-A Portland, pitching to a 2.34 FIP and 2.67 ERA with a 57% groundball rate, 35.8% strikeout rate and 5.8% walk rate. Had it not been for the injury, there’s a case to be made that Monegro might have pitched himself to the majors by the end of 2025. His combination of swing-and-miss stuff, command and the ability to generate a high rate of groundball outs makes him a virtual lock on performance alone. Factoring in his injury timeline, it would be surprising not to see Monegro picked. He has plus stuff with a plus slider and curveball that he mixes with a sinker, a four-seam fastball and a changeup.
