    Wed, Feb 10 Blue Jays general manager Ross Atkins said Wednesday that the club talked about "many, many scenarios" with Josh Donaldson before agreeing to a two-year deal. Advice: In other words, the possibility of a long-term deal was proposed. Ultimately, the two sides found common ground on a deal that bought out two years of arbitration. If Donaldson continues to perform at a high level, he's looking at a massive salary for his final year of team control in 2018. He might be more inclined to test free agency at that point, but it would be no surprise if the Blue Jays bring up the possibility again. More: Ben Nicholson-Smith on Twitter (Rotoworld.com)

    There's rumours "out there" that Hartley steamed off the ice during practice yesterday in Calgary... ie: hungover players.(after the SB) The consequence is healthy scratches of Gaudreau/Monahan and Bouma, thoughts Cyborg? Does this have traction besides SN media?
