    33 games to go and only 3 pts back. They're sliding badly, and the team's management is a tire fire. They're down 3-1 right now with a half period to go going into the break. Chiarelli's getting axed tonight, their fanbase has put a lot of pressure on ownership for change. They still have a very good shot at making it to the playoffs.

    A little over the top, don't you think, lol. I doubt Brownie's a nut job at the rink, I understand where he's coming from as his last post illustrates, my dad was emotionally involved, but some do get nutz! I reffed for 10 bucks a game Saturday mornings and umpired in the summer for 20 a game... the things I heard were nothing I haven't heard before, but it did get a bit intimidating. That was in the 80's, I doubt people are like that now, not in this era. Yet, I don't have any first hand knowledge how it is now, I'm just assuming it's gotten much easier. Good discussion, though, as DP alluded to.

    I don't know about history, lol. I believe he's very underrated, I actually give Stieb the slight edge over Doc. That could be the euphoria cause I was young when he pitched.
