    Correct, they also need to add him to the 40 before Sept. 1st if they want to use him in the postseason, if he excels in September, it's a big plus. Of course this is if they do go that route, I can't see why not.

Ohtani may have messed up with the original statement and there's likely some shade there, but he was cleared by the FBI and MLB as slider mentioned.
