    A 4th OF gets around 400 PA's a year, he's fine for his contract, how do you see getting another for half the price whilst booting Grich out the door? It's not feasible play him as a 4th OF'er and deal with it, he's fine. You're robbing Peter to pay Paul. Just pay him and let it run out.

    Keith was the other that mentioned it too, they both posted the same day of similar reports, IIRC. As for the Org, of course you won't hear anything like that aside from the injury itself and timeline. The Rogers guys don't cover the minors really, they just blurbs of recent news on injuries etc...

    I'm just going by what I've read in this Minor League thread, and I believe it was Eno Sarris. I mean logically that would explain the s***** ISO, wouldn't it? We're not privy to them stats on his exit velo, not that I'm aware of.

    That's with an injured hand and a different approach, time will tell as BlueRocky points out above, maybe next season he comes back to his power numbers he had in college, goes to show how talented his bat to ball skills are in changing to an inside out swing do to injury.

    Evan Longoria's out on rehab assignment, who needs a studly depth bat for a pick? Also, Cueto would be a good grab to help you a long at a title run, just looking for a pick. HMUMF

    Not much value in the contract, but it isn't bad. FO took a gamble and it hadn't worked out for them as hoped.
