    The last thing this franchise needs is to just be hovering at a final wild card spot with Shatkins still in control. Given that the teams in the Central and the West have vastly improved, the chances are slim that we nab a wild card spot. New management should have been already in place to start the year, this way the outlook and changes that have to be made can be made objectively without bias. Rogers put us in this horrible situation and like I've been saying for the past three years, we won't be better moving forward until Shatkins is gone. Unfortunately, it seems like the only way to get rid of them is for the fans to lose interest and have their bottom line slashed. Ed Rogers is a sucker while Shatkins are laughing all the way to the bank.

    We'll see how he turns out. We have to hit on one of these guys ffs. He's listed at 5'11, 170 lbs. Not sure if that was his size when they signed him or not but he does have a good chunk of stolen bases so I would assume he's decently athletic.

    It looks like left fielder Yohendrick Pinango in AA New Hampshire, whom we got in the Nate Pearson trade to the Cubs, should be put on the watch list. Just turned 23 a few days ago and so far in 31 games is raking. Signed out of Venezuela at 17 years old, the left handed hitting outfielder is coming into his own. He had a good rookie season in the DSL followed by three years of mediocrity. He always flashed a good walk / strike our ratio and now the power has emerged. So far he's slashing .355 / .458 / .600 He's got a nice looking swing and the power looks real.

    Bichette showing below average range for a MLB shortstop. Given his pedestrian numbers for well over a year now, combined with the obvious weight gain which could be a concern moving forward, it's a screaming NO on resigning him. Jmo
