  1. Forgive me people, I’m new to baseball, but a question I’ve got to ask is, when you had guys on all 3 bases, why did the batter swing big? Wouldn’t it have been better to just try to place it and get to first base so one of the guys gets home for a run? Is this tactic used much?
  2. Where are you from in England? I’m from Sheffield.
  3. Football ( soccer to you lot 🙂) I support Sheffield Wednesday. I’m also a big fan of cricket and darts. Boxing as well.
  4. So what are the expectations for the Blue Jays this coming season. Are the play offs a good shout?
  5. Cheers mate. I may have a few questions at some point, as while I sort of know the rules to Baseball, there are other things I don’t get. For starters, why do teams play so many games? I see that after today you play at Houston three days in a row. That surely has to take something out of you with the travel.
  6. Hi everyone. After just coming back from visiting Toronto, I thought I would sign up here. I attended my first ever baseball game with my eldest son (despite several trips to North America previously)this last week and whilst the game wasnÂ’t great ( it was the 3-1 defeat to the Tigers) I loved the whole experience. As a big football fan ( soccer to you lot) you certainly treat fans a lot better. The ticket prices are also very cheap, but I noticed once in the stadium the price of refreshments was in some cases extortionate. When next in Toronto i will definitely catch another game or two and I will be watching your game tonight. Let’s hope for 3/3 against the Rays. My son and I are now Blue Jay fans, albeit from afar. Good luck today and for the rest of the season.
