  1. You almost feel bad for Trout/Ohtani. But...Orange County, California ain't a bad place to waste a baseball career in.
  2. And with that, Jays now a full game ahead for the first Wild Card
  3. Rays lost again to the Royals. Mariners currently down 6-0 to the 'Stros. Could be a very good weekend if that score holds.
  4. I have never seen that before.
  5. Bo in the cleanup is a good spot for him. Even when he didn't get a hit in the first, still got an RBI.
  6. Just a hotel for a night. Spending most of the days at the Park, driving down early Saturday and coming back late Sunday.
  7. Yeah I just saw how many players they won't have because of the vaccine mandate. Holy s***. More than double the amount the Phillies had.
  8. Good to see them stringing together hits and Stripling going seven. If they can take 3/4 vs the Royals, they'll have gone 5-1 heading into the ASG. Need to build momentum.
  9. Needed that badly. Their bats have been almost as concerning as their bullpen lately.
  10. Kikuchi sucks. It amazes me how rarely we can get even 4 innings from starters. Gausman injury notwithstanding.
  11. Needed that double play. Hopefully Kikuchi settles down and gives us some innings.
  12. Is this more Montoyo or Atkins/FO?
  13. Welcome back Chappy!!!
  14. Biggio has been their best hitter outside of Kirk lately.
  15. Might be a loooooooong night if Kikuchi can't find the strike zone.
  16. But with relievers being so erratic from year-to-year, if the Pirates think they can get good value for Bednar - I think they do it.
  17. The guys on NESN were saying how the Sox were shutting out a "hot hitting Rays team" and I LOL'ed. Shulman had literally said the exact opposite when the Rays began their series in Toronto.
  18. They're exactly at the halfway point of their season. It was pointed out by Shulman that this year's team is pacing ahead of last year's at the same point. Just need to go on a winning streak to solidify playoff positioning. Having the extra wild card helps and the AL sucks outside of the East. I still don't have confidence in a deep October run though.
