    lol if you think wild card games are the same as real playoff games like the division series, I have nothing to say about it. Not to mention the team has had 0 wins in the wildcard games. You can be pleased with Shatkins all you want, but the fact is they are not good FOs.

    Unlike the Jays, those teams played playoff games. On the other hand, we only played the wild card games.

    I'm sorry that I am being critical of your beloved Shatkins. If we end up re-signing Chapman, and signing other 1-year vets like last year, we won't have any success in the playoffs.

    I think we need some changes in our roster as we have had 0 wins in the wildcard series since 2020.

    If Ohtani comes to the Jays, I would forgive the FO, but otherwise, the Jays would have to restart with the same roster again next season assuming they will get better.

    It's because they failed to sign any other alternatives while focusing on Shohei. If Shohei decides to go to the Dodgers, we are not going to land any big players and be forced to re-sign Chapman and some other 1-year vets.

    f***... The Reds signed with the Jeimer... We are now in the position of either sign Ohtani or getting doomed and re-sign Chappy.

    Hope the Jays could land Ohtani, but it seems to be the Dodgers are very likely at this point. I'm okay with Soto for the plan B.

    I guess Ohtani will be signed with the Dodgers by tomorrow. Roberts is very confident that Ohtani will play for them.

    Do you guys actually think Ohtani will come to the Jays?? His agent is just using us as leverage as every other team does to the Jays.

    There were a few people in here who expected the Jays to get swept after watching their offense against great pitching during the regular season... This wc series was kind of a repeat of the Yankees series where the team got neutralized by Cole and King. We would have won the series if we faced the Rays.

    Do we really think Shapiro will fire Atkins? I think he will fire JS as a scapegoat, but I don't see him firing his buddy Atkins.

    I told you guys Gray and the Twins pitchers are going to shutout our batters, and it turned out to be true. 2023 Blue Jays offense was always struggling against the great pitching.
