    Baseball is a dying sport, and will eventually become fringe. This is not due to other sport, but due to the simple fact that the younger generations prefer video games. In that sense all sports have a limited life that will eventually absolve. Thats why I find the franchise values so interesting.

Its the same old story * Sign fringe player * Will bring back prospect at deadline * Player bring backs fringe prospect * Same old story about how we shouldn't expect much for a rental Meanwhile Daniel Hudson will be closing out games in the WS, and what did we get, a starting pitcher with 7 years of control with 10BB/9IP in the minors Atkins is a garbage GM, and we can expect more of the same. The prime years of this young core will be wasted anyways, by the time we are actually good they will get expensive and the same excuse cycle will start again.

    Pretty sure. Both penalties were wrong and then the missed pass interereineve Lmao what a joke. Lions screwed big time. Probably the most rigged and fixed game I have ever seen. Nfl probably wont investigate but someone got paid for sure. Even packers fans must agree

    The general prospects of this team make me sadder and sadder. They will have a 108 million payroll, probably spend 50 Mil on 8-10 pitching scrubs that might Fetch something at the deadline. Come deadline, they will make the excuse well we only have scrubs to sell. Daniel Hudson will probably be closing out games in the WS, and what did we get. A guy with a 10BB/9IP in A ball, in his mid 20s.

    Don't you think that we victimise the drug abusers, by turning them victims of institutions. I remember when I was younger, crack addicts were portrayed as people who destroyed their own life. Today however it feels like everyone is a victim. I dont know I look at this and read, He knew: He was taking drugs he wasn't prescribed. He knew that they are capable of doing harm He further decided that we would drink while on the illegal drugs. If a Doctor had prescribed him the medication and told him not to drink while on them, would we still be having the same conversation.

    and the funny thing is. He had Alcohol in his system, when every single f***ing warning around these pills makes it clear. Dont take Alcohol with depressants. Twitter has him as the victim in this ofcourse, the Angels failed him.

    Yep, takes the sympathy right out the window IMO. Problem is that these guys have a lot of incentive to pitch right through the pain. A lot of blame will be thrown around but a 30 year old man ought to be responsible enough not to abuse drugs. That is the bottom line around it. Its going to be painful to listen to people blaming the MLB or the Angels organisation or the pharmaceuticals and ignore that every time he popped a pill he had a f***ing choice.
