  1. Man, Albies is a heck of a tool to have on your team.
  2. Two years in, and the Chris Sale trade looks great for the Redsox. Moncada is still a below average hitter and Kopech looks like a reliever.
  3. Lol at Tabby. This is Teherans 180th MLB start
  4. Would they do German for Happ?
  5. Travis and Diaz aren't hitting mucg better than Goins and Barney anyways so what difference does it make
  6. What a weak at bat by Travis
  7. Can't believe Diaz and Travis are starting above the only infielder with any potentiol
  8. He got hurt when he did all that Vikings s***. He f***ed up his calf then and it hasn't been the same then. When other teams do their physicals, f***ed up calfs show up. When the Jays were discussing long term with him, they asked him to take some of the risk Atkins in February If “values” translates to dollars and “risk” means guaranteed years on a contract, then Atkins made some sense describing where the Donaldson negotiations stand and why they have been put on hold: “What I’m comfortable sharing, out of respect for this process and J.D. and obviously the organization, is that as we went through the process, it is clear that we understand values and risk,” Atkins said. “It’s also clear that now is not the time to try and push it over the goal line.”
  9. Dont you think any team trading for Donaldson would have asked for a physical? They would have discovered his calf issues. Or do you think the 29 other teams are full of idiots.
  10. This is the saddest part of the Drop Dead Diva culture we live in. Its no longer about being Guilty or Innocent. Fact of the matter is Osuna is already guilty regardless. Guilty and Innocent are just words now, the outcome for Osuna is almost the same. He will come back to the Jays in August, and probably will be booed out of the building.
  11. I would just to try to reason with JD and sign him long term. He is not going to get the big bucks that he was hoping for, 4/90 should be a serious possibility for keeping him in Toronto
  12. Teams are not willing to deal prospects like the used to. Even for Machado, the Dodgers are holding back, it will be interesting to see if this changes the trade deadline. Happ is 35, if we aren't getting any decent prospects for him, we might as well see if he wants to reup for a similar deal as last time. I wouldn't do the same for Estrada, but Happ being a left hander with a good tight fastball and solid secondary stuff. You would think he still has a good 2-3 years of being an average starter. Hate to say it, but the truth is, Sanchez is a big if now. Maybe Stroman too.
  13. Bunting should be a skill that lower order hitters like Travis should develop.
  14. So did Happ take the spot that should belong to Paxton. Paxton has maybe been the best pitcher in baseball this year.
  15. That's not how I remember it. In the summer of 2009 it was reported that the offered return was Happ and Drabek. AA wasn't incharge then.
  16. Congrats to JA Happ for making the all star team. Fun fact, Happ was offered to the Bluejays as part of the return for Halladay. Who knew he would be one day an Allstar for the Bluejays.
  17. Highest ops on the team is .812 ( Smoak and Hernandez tied) There is a possibility that Jay's will finish the season without a hitter above .800
  18. Made the mistake of listening to Wilners show after years Caller: when we will Guri get to start everyday Wilner: Diaz hasn't done anything to lose his job Hitting 239/277/399 with a 80 WRC Quickly changed stations. FML.
  19. Regardless they were able to bunt and we weren't.we had the go ahead run on 2nd and no one out If Travis can't hit he should at least work on his bunting. Is it unreasonable to expect that if he is going to be a bottom of the lineup hitter than he should be able to at least move the runner along. Or are we still at the point where Travis is this future batting champion ready to break out.
  20. f*** off Travis. Seriously ready to move on from him now.
  21. I can't see this team Tendering a contract to Travis, not worth 4 - 5 Million
  22. Borucki reminds me a lot of Brett Cecil which can e good or bad depending on expectations
  23. So we have no one but Petrika to churn out innings
