    This is a great idea. Sorry, I am a newboi around here and cannot contribute much, if anything at all. I'm still learning all the stats, and jebus! Baseball has more stats than my nerd rpgs could even dream of! Another year or two and I'll be the biggest stats nerd around. But this could do good. Much like Safimod and his PifflesPodcast here in Regina with the Riders. Started small, but now gets both current and former players as guests.

    Yup, pretty sure Happ was in the AA regime. Morales was all Shapiro. And yes, this power, flyball hitter has hit something like over 50% ground balls thus far this season. Both him and Martin have a terrible BABIP, but Martin at least gets hard contact that seems to find every outfielder. Kendrys duffs it in the dirt far more. I take that to mean that Russ will get out of his funk far sooner than Tubs. I mean, come on, Happ has as many hits as Morales in what, the last 20 games??? I think they give him till either June or July 1st, depending on how they go with the kids in AA. Probably July, as I feel they want to move Vladdy, Bo, etc, up to AAA before The Show. Of course, I know nothing, so I am likely wrong in my assessment.

    I only apologize for suggesting Morales would be an upgrade on our starters. And I believe that's not as far out of left field as it sounds... This team had a great start, one of the best in it's history, and then found a cliff and seemingly walked off it. Our AAA relievers cannot keep up with our starters failing to start! And I say AAA, because we keep having to call kids up to keep the relievers fresh enough to actually pitch in a game.

    I'd say make him a reliever, but that would be a downgrade. Tubs would still be more useful though.

    Move Morales to a starting pitcher. He should get an inning or two. Which isn't much worse than we've had. And would be more useful than he's been.

    Aaaand their pitcher has two RBI's. Which is better than our usual DH on a good night...

    I agree with you. Except in the context of the team. Which is a name and so becomes a proper noun, rather than a regular one. And so normal pluralization is not upheld. And to be honest, I always call them the Maple Laughs. Sadly, as an Oiler's fan, I've nothing to laugh about.
