  1. There's a break! Totally thought it was a moonshot by the way Martinez called it.
  2. Haha that was awesome! First home at bat too! I'm gonna love following his performance this year.
  3. That was really something! Mathis the hero! Dodgers really wasted a ton of opportunities
  4. Haha my bad. I don't know much about their management. I was just judging by what i saw on TV today.
  5. Ugh. I'm a fan too, but I expected the A's to crush him. Not going well for my daily sports gaming adventures.
  6. I expected the pitcher to bunt the runner over to 2nd.
  7. So the Sox coach actually blows a whistle when there's a good play? Jeeze, their players have to think that that's super lame. Their coaching staff looks super old and white, not sure how it bodes with such a young latino roster
  8. Nice win by the Jays! It's been great to see the late inning heroics and everyone seems to be contributing. I like the depth that Atkins has brought in. It's such a relief to not have to rely on Goins and Barney as soon as one of the infielders go down. I've been impressed with the rips Diaz has been taking. Nice pickup.
  9. Godamn D'backs... Runnner on 1st with no outs and they have Taijuan Walker hacking away and he promptly grounds into a double play. And of course the next better up rips a single followed by a Marte triple. What are they thinking? lol
  10. Encarnacion rips an inside the park home run! Lol that is priceless. Just when you think you've seen it all. That's why I love baseball:o
  11. Oops, thought I was in the around baseball thread. Sorry folks.
  12. LOL Encarnacion just ripped an inside the park home run!
  13. It seems like some of the members here actually want the Jays to lose... Weird.
  14. Good grief, I would've thought that the Cubbies would demolish the Fish in this series. Marlins are giving em a run for their money.
  15. There seems to be a real lack of information online surrounding the injury that Lawrie is suffering from. Is everyone sure that he's not simply trying to rationalize why he's been outta the league? Maybe he's in denial and just making some excuses to try and justify why he's unemployed.
  16. Good Heavens, that was a work of beauty from Estrada today. Man, he's fun to watch when he's on. Fun to see some actual depth in the infield this year! Solarte has some serious pop. Should do him well coming back to the AL East.
  17. Just a pleasant reminder of how nice it is to not be seeing him with the Jays this year
  18. Lol good ole Ned Yost putting Goins in to pinch-hit with a runner on and down a run in the 9th
  19. Gibbons was just trying to gain his respect by letting him finish the inning. To his credit, one wouldn't consider Wade much of a threat, but I certainly would've gave him the hook. He hasn't pitched in quite some time, why push your luck?
  20. Yeah... I mean, I see it for what it is. They're clearly treading water and waiting for some of the younger kids to come up. They're giving the old guys a chance to see if there's any more gas left in the tank, but they're not committed to making a push. I think it's the sensible approach, because there's too many ready young pieces in their prime to do a traditional tear down.
  21. It's only 2 games in, so I'm not gonna panic but I'm definitely missing the bats of Encarnacion and Bautista. I realize Bautista's pretty much finished now, but it would have been nice if they brought in a big bat to replace him.
  22. Damn... Great pitch by Chapman
  23. Come on Grich, let's see a little early season magic!
  24. Damn, Giants are making Kershaw look pretty ordinary. Panik took him deep and he's already given up 7 hits and 2 walks over 4.2 innings
  25. This is great. Thanks! Love the avatar BTW! Rodneys the best:o
