    What's the difference? Were not spending on anything else. Maybe I'm just salty on the recent Grandal signing to CWS and I think it's a bad omen of things to come. That's a guy we should of been way more in on and serves as an amazing bridge type deal to both work with our core (and future) SP now while also drawing a larger name to the org. We have so much financial clout I'm totally baffled as to why were just sitting on our hands. While I agree EE shouldn't be coming back here I just don't see where else were going to be spending in the next couple of offseasons.

    Not that I'm a huge fan of the current playoff format but it makes me sad to think of a time when only 4 teams made it. As an aside why were st Louis and Atlanta not flipped in the pre 94 addition of the central divisions? St Louis is clearly much further geographically west than Atlanta.

    Aaron Sanchez turning back into the lovable pumpkin he always was with us. Although at least hes giving the stros a few more innings: 5.0ip 4er 1bb 3so 2hr Meh. And in other ex Jays news Stro had a good start that was almost derailed by the Mets dumpster fire of a bullpen.
