This makes sense.
It's a year in which MLB must ensure that a small market team like Seattle must not make the playoffs. Angels Must be in the WC with the Dodgers not doing well
Very smart straregic move.
I'm assuming they have positive drug tests on a 100 percent of the players and only throw those under the bus that make sense strategically in maximizing profits and revenue
I don't understand how anyone can watch baseball and think this team is any good
It's not it's really not. It had potential at the start of the year but certain realies such as
Morales rebounding
Sanchez and Stroman being top line pitchers Estrada and Garcia being passable
These things did not come to fruition. Therefore this team isn't any good
The syndergaard trade is so catastrophic to the franchise, that all the other busts pails in comparison.
Dont know why AA thought he was going to win the championship with the Roster he had assembled,
agreed. This is not a sexy move, having two middle infielders that are horrible with the bat. Gurriel hit some ropes that did not end up being hits. Makes you question, just how analytially savy this front office is.
Estrada had a for use life but whatever magic he had is now gone. They know what's coming and if they don't get him the first time through the order they get him the second
His usefulness as an MLB pitcher is finished. We are well into May now, I hope some of the youngsters get a shot soon instead
