Barker on PTS yesterday put together what a brilliant analysis on Morales, and his failure to make adjustments.
According to Barker, if Morales crept in a bit and moved forward in the box, he would be able to get ahead of the breaking pitches. This would leave him more vulnerable to the fastball, but since he isn't getting any fastballs anyways, it doesn't really matter. If Morales can make that adjustments, pitchers might throw him fastballs again. Him and Brunt had a great conversation about it. It ended with Barker suggesting that Morales is just stubborn and perhaps doesn't want to change anything at this stage of his career.
