  1. i really want to see biggio moved out of that 2 spot right now.
  2. is it bad that i hate when i see him actually swing the bat? prefer bat on shoulder work a walk biggio
  3. wonder if they are having trouble seeing the ball or something, these are some terrible swings we are seeing
  4. watch the replay he isn't even looking the ball into his glove, pulls his head up
  5. already prefer semien at ss than BO
  6. that commercial still makes me laugh. I was lucky enough to play on the field with him in one of those old timers fantasy days a few years ago. He had some injuries then that limited him to only 1b for a couple of innings but he did almost take my buddy deep for a HR which he will never forget. Tony Fernandez and Roberto Alomar are my two favorite all time Jays. Yes I'm old.
  7. Catch the Taste! if you know this quote, you know Alomar was special to watch play.
  8. Fiers loads the bases after the HR and manager comes and pulls him as next batter is Abreu. this is the 2nd inning with two outs mind you. i'll admit it caused some flashbacks to ryu last night. Relief guy comes in and gets Abreu to ground out to 3rd 1-0 Sox.
  9. your video led to me to these Ryu highlights, notice Martin catching him a lot early on
  10. Awesome, can't wait to watch this.
  11. I really like this kids swing. very fast hands.
  12. This is a well written tragic story. Thanks for sharing it.
  13. He did look pretty good in that hightlight pack.
  14. I realize that but everyone in this thread is saying he's owed 4 mill for basically 4 weeks of baseball. by my math thats 1 mill per week.
  15. I don't want to see him given for nothing but money savings. Put me on the Qualifying Offer list for next year. Worst case is he takes it and is injured all year again like this year. But if he can stay healthy I believe he will out perform that QO. Also pretty gross to think the guy is making 1 million dollars per week.
  16. Can't say I remember seeing Rowley pitch. But Santos sucks.
  17. this santos guy is one of the worst relief pitchers I have even seen the jays throw out there. i think a position player will have more success as a pitcher than this guy. I know he gets the mop up sh#t games like this but damn guy has nothing.
  18. Didn't AA kind of invent this strategy a few years ago?
  19. Torres was finally getting bumped up higher in the lineup until he got hit on the wrist with a 94mph pitch the other day, in his first games back they batted him lower again in case they had to pull him out.
  20. sounds more like left shoulder sh$ttiness. Its spreading from Stroman. Sanchez looks like he's catching some too.
  21. I think he is turning into the non starter that happens to all pitchers as short as he is. That's all we heard about him when he was coming up but now nobody mentions that historically pitchers his size dont last long as starters.
  22. he's an infielder how the hell did he miss that ball that badly. I don't care what Buck and tabby say he's got to stop that ball.
  23. agreed he's not stanton, but pretty different than Snider body type wise, sure he may end up at Firstbase because he might get too big to play 3rd. I thought the original question was when did the Blue Jays last have this much hype for a hitting prospect and I thought delgado/green. Some of you guys maybe too young to remember those days but both were really looked to be future stars for the Jays and they both were. I guess at the time I didn't really buy into the Snider hype, I had hope for him but that was it.
  24. I was thinking more along the lines of Delgado or Shawn Green era hype. Snider put up great minor league numbers but was a bad body player, not very athletic compared to V Jr.
