well... batting at .264 last season to me is better than Goins' bat for sure... and we just need a backup IF anyway... unless u think Kawasaki is much better? also keep in mind we don't know if Travis can last a whole season healthy

Didn't mean using just $3.9M for a single reliever... that $ goes back to the FA signing pool. I'm happy with Bello as primary 1B.

pedro ciriaco would be a nice fit if he accepts $1.5M.... capable of 2B, 3B, SS and got decent batting avg.

What a waste of $ on Chavez, Happ and now Smoak!!! Bello is now gonna ask for same $ if not more... why can't Lacava just wait to see what's out there on the market?? I expect some good bargains as usual.... That's how the likes of Royals and Rays compete! I wanna see Dickey traded pls....... use that $12M on a younger, more reliable arm!!!

I wasn't suggesting the Jays gotta go after this guy... but he posted decent batting numbers last few seasons compared to Smoak/Thole.... and we can't say for sure Colabello will have a repeat of an impressive season.... also, as a backup catcher, you can't expect him to be near perfect right? how many costly errors had he made last season? -

as in not a capable catcher? He just got moved to 1B last year ... and now playing winterball as a catcher again.... and this guy can hit HR's!!! Would you rather have Thole over Rosario?
