    To win the world series you have to put it all together. This group can only do that once in awhile. We just need a run where pitching and hitting run well for a week or two, hopefully in October.

    The athletes today are better all around. It's the age old Orr vs Gretzky etc. We will never know, but TV and software has allowed us to measure times on throws etc. I believe some of Puigs are of epic proportions.

    Adding to several firings in the upper reaches of their scouting and player development departments, the Blue Jays have decided to part ways with minor league pitching coordinator Sal Fasano, as Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports. The long-time MLB catcher has been with the Toronto organization in various capacities since 2010. GM Ross Atkins recently discussed the team’s changes and plans for finding replacements. These guys are ruthless. I like it.

    Honestly, it's nice to read smart baseball chatter here. When we hear on the radio today, it is going to be bonkers ********. I will say it though, the kids young, his arm is fine and he has shown no sign of fatigue. I would keep Liriano and Sanchez in the rotation and move Dickey to the pen. Stroman doesn't seem to have a cap on his innings,why Sanchez?
