That’s not what I said. I said I don’t Drury, and if he’s the “main” piece that will be gross unless there’s a very intriguing prospect included. If the Jays got a couple of exciting prospects in the low minors that would be great. Another replacement level middle infielder that doesn’t play great defense is not an exciting return at all.

Are you really comparing Drury to Donaldson?! For every Donaldson there are 100,000 mediocre minor leaguers that amount to nothing. Stop being ridiculous.

Well if Spanberger has never been injured we already know he has a 70 WAR future ahead of him. Wall’s injuries clearly mean he’s a write-off already.

Vet reliever performing exceptionally well signed for another year after this season to an incredibly cheap deal. I’d expect more than the #13 prospect from a pretty terrible farm.

“Solid prospects” is generous. 2 lottery tickets and a ptbnl is more accurate. Mediocre return and they should have tried to get an arm.
